Default iPod/iPhone Pause/UnPause

I cannot believe I can't figure this out!

How do I pause the iPod through the Honda Nav or steering wheel?

Thanks

p.s. I Love how when I connect my iPhone the car remembers what playlist and song I was playing from my last trip.

I haven't figure it out either. In fact, I couldn't figure out how to pause a CD the other day. Couldn't find a button on the nav/stereo.

My EX doesn't have Nav, so I'm not sure about that, but on mine, it took me a few minutes to realize there were no play/pause buttons, you just have to press the power button. Not very intuitive...

Looking at the manual, for models with nav (page 229), it would seem like you guys probably need to do the same (use the power button).

Yeah, just hit the power button. It will remember where you were in the song when you hit power again.

I am assuming you mean a button on the iPod itself? I'll have to try that. Whenever I look at it while plugged into the car system it only says "ok to disconnect" and there doesn't appear to be any real control of the device itself.

Would this work for pause too?

This might not be the solution for you but I recently found out that if you double click the home button, it will bring up the ipod controls on the screen and you can pause from there.

By "home" button you must mean an iPhone? I use my iPod Classic in my I2 so I have access to my 6,000 song library.

I haven't tried, but I don't believe the iPod controls are usable when it's plugged in. I was referring to the power button on the stereo (top left button which appears to also be the volume knob).

Oh, you know what, I totally didn't pay attention to you saying you have the nav system. On the non nav, the power button for the radio effectively pauses the song.
