Default Got cut off by another I2!

Today I was driving in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles around 8:30a. I was about to change lanes on a slight incline and low and behold a sky blue Insight speeds up to prevent me from getting over! A drop in behind him and watch as he darts in and out of traffic, changes lanes back and forth without signaling. I bet his gas mileage is not that good!

I bet his trees lost all of their leaves But who cares. With a car that gets at least around 40mpgs why worry about a few leaves falling of the trees.
It's all psycho mumbo jumbo. I would have sped up and gave him a run for his money and while I am at it I would have honked the Mighty Insight Horn at him

I had some a hole in a first gen red insight whiz by me on i295 one day heading south. I was doing 75 and he passed me like I was standing still. I tried to catch him, but he just zipped around traffic and vanished.

WOW, are the first Gen Insights that much faster than the second Gen?
Or did you have your car in Econ mode. I really don't like Econ mode.
It makes the car feel like you are driving with the parking brake on.
Very annoying.
So far I am not impressed with the overall performance of the Insight.
I may take it back and exchange it for a Civic Si. I had a 2006 Si and
loved it. Great Car and fun to drive and still gets pretty good gas mileage.

Ive driven 100mph, fuel economy was like 36 and the screen was constantly blue with engine doing like 4 grand. Its no rocket, but it can obtain tripple digits and maintain it. Most first gen insight I see go 45mph or keepsup with traffic. Ionly see prius cars setting speed records.

You should consider trading it for the new mustang, camaro or corvette. Those cars have tons of power and can make at least 30mpg crusing.
