Wink Anyone Planning To Install A Sun Roof?

I am tempting to install an electric sun roof to my 2010 Insight but I am not sure how much will it cost. Not sure why Honda did not provide an Electric Sun Roof as an option. What do you think?

That's the one I was looking at a while back, and while I'd love to do it, I can't really afford it/justify it right now...maybe next year.

Someone showed me a motorized one that popped up and tucked inside. The down part was that it reduced the head room an inch. I wouldnt mind a moon or fun roof like one that poped up to vent.

The dealership I work at, we charge around 1200 for a moonroof in just about any car that doesn't already have it.

The insight, if a moonroof was installed, and opened, it would affect aerodynamics and increase drag. Even if the inside slider was opened and the glass roof, it would minimally heat the inside of the car more, and for just about all of us, we use Econ mode and its already hot enough in the car.

Thanks. I had a VW Fox with one. I put a piece of vinyl over it and used it as a vent to lessen use of ac.
