Cool Air powered car, what next?

Interesting story, I know some people that are full of hot air and could go a long way without stopping! It is amazing how as gas prices reach 4 dollars (in upstate NY at least) people will try anything to save money. A guy I work with has a diesel truck and is now making Bio-diesel fuel at home for about two dollars a gallon. The truck smells like french fries everytime he starts it up to leave, which is better then paying 4.30 per gallon for plain diesel fuel I guess. Too much like work for me, I will stick with my Insight and drive like a granny!

I really liked the Delorean that ran on garbage.

It may cost $2 to make now, but if you factor in the cost of labor at a prevailing wage, it costs closer to $10/gallon. (I've been reading a biodiesel hobbyist forum.) Plus waste cooking oil is harder and harder to find for cheap these days, and you are often competing with large biodiesel contractors.
