I got my 2005 Elantra for about $11,500

They included all the bells and whistles on the interior... yes ,the body was crap... the dings and scratches were ridiculous when I traded it, and yes the wear items were crap... it needed new struts at 51,750, but the interior was lovely the entire time
It's things like that that make people Want a car... they could really give the prius a run for their money, IMO, if they focused just a bit more on that. Once the Korean cars get the other stuff down, they might just leave the Japanese minimalist types in the dust...
I seriously considered a 2011 Elantra but the experience I had with the metal, and the wear parts on the 2005 made me shy away...
