Question How do I find out when the car needs serviced?

Hello,

I want to find out when my 2010 Insight is due it's service. I know the car is on variable servicing so I thought you could press the trip button to find out when the car needs servicing. But I only get the mileometer and trip a and b.

I am confused....

Thanks

The car has a maintenance minder that will pop up on the MID to tell you when it needs to have its scheduled service. You can also look it up in the owner's manual.

As for oil changes...press the trip button on the steering wheel until it reads your oil life percentage. That'll show you the state of your oil.

Please read your owners manual.

Basically it will tell you on its screen. It uses codes you can check in the manual or your local dealer.

For the most part you just need to rotate tires every 5 thousand, change oil every year or 10 thousand, and cvt fluid every 12. The rest is like 5 year or 100,000 miles.

Of course you want to check your air and cabin filter every 15 thousand.
