2010 EX problem..... help?

Hi everyone.

We purchased a 2010 Honda Insight EX (no nav) as our 2nd Honda after a great 2004 Honda CR-V LX that we still have!

Unfortunately, this Honda has been a bit disappointing on reliability. At 12K, the IMA cooling system died and it took 1 month for the dealership to get the car back on its feet. Luckily, it was under warranty

Now it has 22K and there is a "clunk" sound whenever the IMA system starts or shuts off. Is this normal first off???? It happens when the car is braking or we step on the pedal. Can anyone duplicate what this problem could be? It has gotten worse lately and occasionally now the auto stop feature stops working. I have to restart the car to fix the autostop issue but the "clunk" still happens.

To us, this completely unacceptable durability wise. We really wanted a Prius III and just needed to cough up $2000 at the time to get one but because our 04 CR-V was so reliable, we kept to Honda. And it was 2 grand cheaper..

We also have a 2009 Toyota Yaris that has 31K that has no issues. And a '90 Tercel before the Yaris with 180K miles. Guess we should have kept to Toyota.

Do you feel the clunk? I know when you key on and key off it turns on and off the breaker for the hv pack in the rear. i wonder if they did not secure it properly and its bouncing around in the back?

Cooling problem with IMA? Did they replace something related to the rotor? (now loose when the IMA motor is energized)
Need more info.
Back to the dealer and have them fix it.
