2012 insight, any idea?

When? and any changes?

If the Insight follows typical Honda update/ restyle patterns that would mark the cars 3rd model year of which Honda typically tweaks the grille and or lights, bumper etc... on their cars for the remaining 2 years left of the platform. But then again the original Insight went on much longer with almost no cosmetic changes so who knows. This current gen is more of a mainstream product so it may get the every two year updates like say a Civic or the Accord?

There is also a mention of future models (2014). There appears to be minor changes in the body, with little or no changes in the mechanical parts, except for mods to the suspension. There will be improved noise suppression. So the 2012 should ride smoother and be quieter (perhaps beter handling). The mpg will be the same and the car should look nearly identical to the current model.
