Default Base model/milage/

I have had my base model about 2 months. Love it. I have been getting about 43 mph- mostly short trips 10 miles or less, no long freeway trips. The display indicates 45 mph but calculations with the miles driven and gallons used is 43. I decided on the base as I did not use the cruise control much on my last car. I also want to install a premium sound system. I priced it out and I could add cruise control and the preimum sound system after market for around $750.00. Armrest can be added for about $200- the same as the LX/EX has.Could not see paying the premium for the LX. I think I got a great price for the base. $17,100 including destination charges!! Tax and lic were added. Only have been able to get 4 leaves so far, no crowns. About 2200 milles so far. I try to drive as green as possible. Have not had to use A/C more the a few times.

Welcome aboard. Sorry I had to move the post, this is a way better area to get answers.

The dash mpg is 2mpg more than actual.

The mpg improves with miles traveled, it seems it takes at least 15 thousand to break it in.

You can add any radio, amps, etc on the market and there are kits now for the dash, antenna and harness. The door speakers are 6 1/2 inches in diameter.

You can get an aftermarket cruise control too.

Most efficient use of the ac is to use it in manual mode, set teh temp to lo, and use the fan speed to regulate the temp.
