Default cruise control - rate of acceleration changeable?

When on the highway I usually use my cruise control and I try and maintain speed via the res/accel or set/decel buttons. Up to last night the acceleration while holding down the res/accel button was pretty pokey but now it seems to have decided frugal acceleration wasn't what it wanted to do anymore and now it accelerates at "dark blue". ??? I want my pokey cruise back!

Likely due to the road grade in the difference.

Nah, it's changed. Used to be, say at 50mph, when the accel button was held down the response would be 51onethousand 52onethousand 53onethousand and the display never went darker than light blue... Now it's 515253 and dark blue... I'm convinced something I did changed the default setting like hitting a paddle shifter or maybe using the gas pedal while i was holding down the accel... Dunno. Just want the original response back.

hi
if the econ button is pushed the acceleration of the cruise control it's slower.
if the econ button isn't pushed the acceleration of the cruise control it's faster

Oh man, that was too obvious... Not sure why/when I turned off Econ mode. Thanks!

The change in cruise control between ECON off to ECON on is huge.

You can maintain MPH nearly spot-on with only a 2 MPH fluctuation up mountains with 800'ish pounds of people / stuff in the I2.

But you'll definitely be in deep blue on the gauge cluster in the process.

The I2 has the best cruise system in any automobile I've ever had. Then again, this is my first drive-by-wire car, I figure that has something to do with it compared to the traditional throttle cable setups.

I dig using the cruise. (I think my econ got turned off when a relative moved my car for street cleaning - I leave it on and never touch it.) Regardless, I get great mileage when I "thumb-drive" using cruise.
