What in the world makes you think this is a pump?

The unit is the Rocker Arm Control Valve used in the VTEC operation. More specifically, your arrows are pointing to the electrical connectors for rocker arm oil pressure sensor A and B.

It works good and lasts a long time. Don't mess with it.
