Default R.I.P. Passenger Door Panel

I was backing my '11 EX-N out of my parking stall at a Jack in the Box parking lot and threw it into drive and proceeded through the aisle towards a stop sign.
The second the front of car passed a Civic that was still parked, it began backing out and I had no time to react. Couldn't accelerate forward because of the stop sign, couldn't throw it in reverse because I was already going around 6-10mph.
I honked but she didn't react (and I have an Accord horn mod..) and rammed the driver's side corner of her bumper into my passenger door.
She had a provisional license and was driving with minors (which is illegal in California), her plates were expired, and her insurance card had expired. Later came to find that she was still covered by the policy, she just didn't have the right card.
She even had the nerve to not admit to fault.

So now I'm just waiting for my insurance to get ahold of her. They quoted it for a whopping $2200 worth of damage. I can't roll the window down all the way because it's such a deep dent
I had a passenger in the car with me that is acting as a witness so that should help!

Good Luck!!! You may want to see if the jack in the box has the incident on video. They might have a surveillance system that got a good view of it. Better to have as much evidence as you can if it goes to court now a days.

Thanks!
I'm going to get into contact with Jack in the Box.
I think I hit the brakes and stopped the car the second she made contact because it was my first instinct. I knew that the damages would be much worse if I just dragged the side of my car along her bumper for even a second.
Hopefully the insurance doesn't try and throw this back on me, because I know it was private property so almost anything can go.
There was literally no way I could have avoided it though.

That sounds about right. Maybe you can get a complete door assembly from one wrecked at a different spot?

I could try, but I VERY highly doubt there's a wrecked I2 at a parts yard in my area. They just started becoming popular where I live so there aren't many out there.
