I'm thinking about upgrading the radio to somehting with Navi so if anyone can point to any threads with pics that would be great. I've searched but haven't found any thing yet.

Thanks
If you just got the car and your already getting 46mpg, then you are doing very good. I didn't get much above 40 for an average for a while. The longer you drive the car the better mileage you will probably get. This car is great at making you aware of wasteful driving habits. Luckily, most of my daily driving is in a small town and on secondary roads that are fairly flat. It really helps keep my average mileage in the 45-48mpg range.

Last summer I decided to drive the car with the Econ mode off, ran the air constantly and drove like Rosanne on her way to an all-you-can-eat buffet and still got an average of 37mpg on that tank. Not bad.

You can turn the speedo colors off. It's in the owner's manual.

cworley5150, driving through the WV mountains is fun if you don't mind the drop in MPG.

Turn off ECON, get to the MPH you want to cruise at, and hit the cruise button.

It takes care of the rest, very well I should note.

Yea the RPM's will go nuts, but you're good as long as you keep it out of the red! I don't think it would allow itself to go into the red, anyway.

@cworley

I agree - I am totally paying attention to how fast I drive and whether or not it's "green" etc. I've always been kind of a "grandma" driver - it's now getting my husband to do the same that will be the challange.
