Default FYI 2012 Insight with Bluetooth

I just picked up my new 2012 Insight EX. It has Bluetooth. The Navi system is not required for Bluetooth in the 2012 EX.

Finally Honda!
The Insight and the Fit are the only Hondas you can get Navigation without leather. (I think) I dislike slippery leather seats sticking to my legs in shorts. As a Californian, I am in shorts mostly.

I am the opposite, I wish I could get leather seats. They clean easier and don't get stained. My family room furniture is all leather. The leather breathes and actually keeps you cooler in my opinion. If you have plastic seats you will stick to them.

Nothing like sitting naked on a leather seat.

Aftermarket leather is available. I just put Clazzio seat covers on my EX - they are awesome. Katzkin makes even a higher quality product.

I have nothing against leather for folks that want it. It's just that Honda makes it a requirement for certain features in so many of their vehicles. Perhaps it's just that Navigation is now trickling down. We pretty much paid for Navi in a 2010 just to get integrated bluetooth. That aging Nav unit lacks real time traffic, the killer ap for Los Angeles. (and most cities probably)
