I saw your post and say they were over 200 bucks each. The battery would expire but I broke even from using it. I wanted to go on the cheap side and was trying to size it.

I see a small lifepo4 motorcycle cell on ebay for 49.95. It states its not a starting battery, but for those with a kick starter. Its rated at 12 volts and a few amps.

I've been looking at the Shorai Motorcycle battery LFX18L1-BS12. 270 CCA , 18AH and only weight 2.12 lbs. Msrp $189
Anyone Tried Shorai Lithium-Iron battery?

The cold cranking amps seems kind of low. I think some fo the cheaper Brailles would be better.
