Default Dynamat question

Good morning. Has anyone lined the outer door panel with Dynamat as well as the inner panel? Wondering it it would be worth it, or is just lining the inner panel enough? How much gain in quietness would lining both panels get me, as opposed to just one? Gracias.

I did both inside and outside. It really makes a difference. Even just closing the door sounds more substantial. I used two of the door kits and had plenty to work with.

Thanks. So two door kits did all four doors, inner and outer panels?

Yes, with enough trim pieces left over that I've kept them to use on any other areas that might get 'buzzy' over time. Just store them laying flat.

I used the 3" roller. WELL worth getting. I don't think I could have done as good a job without it.

Use Quick Roof from Home Depot or Peel and Seal from Lowe's Instead. It's the same stuff, with the same results; at a fraction of the cost. Google it and check out videos on You Tube.

No. I posted in the wrong thread. I erased the text and wrote disregard.

Please do use the alternatives I've mentioned. I'm going to this spring.

BTW, to cut down on road noise considerably, get rid of the Dunflops. I experienced an 80% reduction in road noise using Yokohama Touring S Tires in 195 60 R15

Did you replace the Dunlops before they had worn out? If not, what did you do with them. Seems like a waste to not run them until they need to be replaced.

I did replace them before they ran out. I got a great deal on the Yokohamas and after selling my used tires on Craigslist; the upgrade cost me less than 250 bucks. I posted a review of my upgrade with pics.
