Default cleaning interior?

Hey guys i have a 2010 insight with the light grey interior/cloth seats. I was wondering what you use and how you clean your seats and the rest of the interior? For some reason i try to clean it, i make it look dirtier.....

I knew a detailer that used a small bissel steam vac. I used the blue coral foam spray for little stains myself. We had a thread here about carpet cleaning, however it was just one big spam thread.

Try folex you can pick it up at lowes. I always have good luck with it and it doesn't leave any strong or funny smells in your car. Sometimes for heavier stains it requires a few treatings one right after the other.

Get seat protection!

I'm about to use my I2 for trips with my dog. The only way to keep the interior brand new is by preventing the hairs and mud from sticking to it...



See you in a couple of months when I'll get lazy and let him sit in the front

Thumbs up Interior spruce - up !

The interior plastics on our Insight 2 's aren't the classiest are they ? Mine, including the blue radio fascia looked jaded until I "discovered" Wynns Cockpit Shine here in the UK (I'm sure I've seen it in Walmarts in the USA too). What a difference it's made! Just spray all over the dash, door plastics, handbrake area etc, then a quick wipe and it's looking brand new again, so easy yet so effective.
If your interior plastic surfaces are needing some TLC, give it a try, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
