Default Xenon's/LED's on the front headlamps

Hey everyone,

Ive been wanting to put xenon's or LED's on my HCH III for a while now and I was wondering if this would be a good or bad idea (maybe it would put strain on the IMA system).

I want to put more energy efficient headlamps while adding more bling to the car.... anyone have any experience with this on the Insight II?

ITs been done, Its best to use a relay kit to avoid any electrical issues or grimlins for HIDS. 35 watts is more than enough 4300k is white and is the brightest color. LEDs are a crap shoot. I got a year or so out of them before they need to be replaced.

It's a bad idea for blinding people sine Honda Civic Hybrid doesn't have a projector headlight and should avoid using HID kits. Just stay with stock or alternative to stock. The "whiter" or "bluer" the color is, the less visibility you will see on the road. For the best output, go for H9 if your car uses H11.

LEDs cannot produce enough light to light the road at this moment unless it's a factory LED set up such as 2013 Honda Accord V6 Touring and some other high end cars.

I'm using HID without any relays on my Insight and it isn't that "blinding" to oncoming traffics.

This is the right way to do it:
Projector Headlights Upgrade Complete AMA

The kit makes it easy, and the output is decent for an aftermarket projector.

The TL and FX are among the best projectors out there. Compare to the "Aftermarket Mini H1" here, and you'll see that the kit is pretty dang good. More importantly, you can see how much better the H1 is than G1/G3 (typical ebay projectors).
Bi-Xenon Output Comparison: TL, E55, Murano, FX, IS, e46,LR3
