Rear Cargo Area Colors

We ordered our Insight last week but won't be receiving it for another week or two. In the meantime we want to order one of the retractable cargo area covers. They are available in Gray and Black....which one goes with the black interior? Some pictures show the lower area of the cargo black with the side plastic cladding in gray - is that really the case? We just want it to look like it blends into the sides.

Anyone able to glance in the back of their Insight and let me know how their color scheme goes? Thanks!

I have a 2010 EX, black exterior with grey seats, grey carpet, grey plastic, all except the dash and a few odd pieces which are navy-ish blue. I looked at several before making my purchase and I never saw another color for the cargo area other than grey. Good luck

I have a 2011 with black interior. Don't know if it will be the same on the newer model, but I was a little disappointed when I received mine. The front part of the seats are black and a portion of the back of the seat; however, a lot of the back is covered in the beige color. Did not realize that a black cargo cover was available when I ordered mine, and as such I've got the beige looking one. You are correct the sides of the cargo area are the beige color, and I'm happy with the lighter colored cover. I'm in Florida, so it is a little better for me from a heat perspective.

You will be happy, I'm sure, with whichever you choose.

Finally received our Insight and saw that the portion of the side trim where the cargo cover clips in is indeed the lighter gray color. Ordered it - thanks!
