Default Oil & Tranny FLuid Change and the Bastards Got In The Air Filter Again

Just buy a wool sock from the dollar store and put it over the snorkle and use a zip tie to snug it up.

As a newcomer to the site, I definitely see differences between gen1 and gen2 owners. Personally, I was only vaguely aware that Insights existed before seeing my 2013 sitting on the dealer's lot, but I am definitely in the camp of those who "use and enjoy the many features of their car and its cargo capacity." would I like to get 90 mpg? You bet, but 50 mpg is almost as gratifying, and I would not want to give up the driving comfort of the CVT, etc. even though I grew up driving stick shifts and would enjoy driving one again. But I was a GTO kind of stick driver: the concept of running through the gears in a way to achieve maximum mileage doesn't compute too well for me!

Viva la difference!

Default Language

It's much easier to watch your language when you are typing, I see no need for it. You have plenty of time to come up with creative words that illustrate your point, as opposed to when you are speaking and you need to come up with words before you lose your audience.

Did you ever figure out how the critters were getting into the filter area?
