Just kidding, the gen 1 folks are hard core at getting the best mpg, gen 2 owners are more laid back and actually use and enjoy many features of their car and its cargo capacity.

As a newcomer to the site, I definitely see differences between gen1 and gen2 owners. Personally, I was only vaguely aware that Insights existed before seeing my 2013 sitting on the dealer's lot, but I am definitely in the camp of those who "use and enjoy the many features of their car and its cargo capacity." would I like to get 90 mpg? You bet, but 50 mpg is almost as gratifying, and I would not want to give up the driving comfort of the CVT, etc. even though I grew up driving stick shifts and would enjoy driving one again. But I was a GTO kind of stick driver: the concept of running through the gears in a way to achieve maximum mileage doesn't compute too well for me!
Viva la difference!
