Default how to replace the cabin filter, or how to get the passenger Airbag.

Hello people!
Today I will enlighten those who want to change the air filter or remove the passenger Airbag.
all simple, just like make tea!
for this we need a key to 10mm (for airbag) and not curved hands !
Sorry for the poor quality photos, pictures of the old cell phone. but you'll understand!
So:
1. open the glove box, and on the right we see the plastic "hand" which holds the box and gives it a smooth ride. it detaches not much effort, but be careful.

2.on both sides of the glove box holding two rods (in red)
to fully open the box, you have to hand bend these rods(dashed line) and not great effort completely overturn the glove box.
p.s I am confused in English

3.yellow circled where the filter. extracted easily. Recommend changing filters with hydrocarbon additive. they well kill unnecessary smells and great clean air.

on for those who want to replace the Airbag or just extract it from its place. in the photo above, we see two 10mm bolts which must be unscrewed. in red

Airbag itself holds just the white clips (photo below)
to remove it, it is necessary from the top (where the air bag cover) with a screwdriver to lift up the lid and gently very hands on, lift the lid. eventually you will be able to completely free it up.
Attention! be sure to disconnect the battery cables.
also recommend a screwdriver with cloth wrap to prevent damage to the cover.

I was going to post this too! Unfortunately I snapped the travel arm... duh. Please make sure to unhook this. I was so pissed. Thanks for the tutorial. I want to add that you just have to squeeze the sides of the glove box. It feels as if you are going to break the sides when they bend in, but it did not break.

Here is the filter I used:

Wix 24201 Cabin air filter. This one has a special chemical to attract dirt. I don't know if it really works, but this is the one I decided on. There are a few others to choose, but I decided on this one and it fit perfectly.

You mean like this one?

Wix 24201

The OEM is available cheaper if you know where to look:

Honda Cabin Pollen Filter (CRZ, Insight) - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories

I usually make up a large order for filters & wiper blade refills.

The WIX was about $6 less where I got it. I think Fleet Supply and Rock Auto have the WIX for less than Bernardi's OEM. I guess no matter what or where you get it, it is a savings when compared to most dealers.

I have purchased from Bernardi in the past. I still have a gen 1 brand new EGR from Bernardi sitting in the garage. I thought I would stock up on them like you stock up on filters. I did not count on the engine going out at 250k.
