Default What am I missing? What's the deal?




My 2010 EX Insight - Purchased as-new mid-Feb, 2011, currently @ 750 miles. I've been in once for warranty work on the "rubber roof trim" and that's been it - no complaints, no lemon law threats, no other communications, etc. w/ the dealer.

That is one weird offer for sure... I am like you:

It could be that they send these letters automatically, and their software just plug the name of the car the customer already have, but never thought they would end up with an offer replacing a 2010 Insight by a 2010 Insight... flaw in the software selection process maybe

Let us know if you find out, it's strange enough to be interesting

I'm sure it was meant for the buyer of that software autofill for a '2007 Honda Civic' three years ago but they didn't exclude the newest car owners or those with the exact same year Insight with the same package.

So far no heroin, diamonds, or other assorted misc exotic contraband has been located that the dealer is trying to recover... dang. Yeah, looks like an automailer bug! Maybe I'll screw with'em and white-out their 2010 Insight and replace it w/ Honda FCX...
