I would love for Google Plus to overtake Facebook, but it doesn't seem to be catching on as fast as it could. They certainly need to add some features, like easier messaging (there isn't an extensive private message system), and if they do it maybe it'll become a much better competitor. Google is the only company strong enough to overtake Facebook... And Facebook has become way too intrusive IMO, especially with the face recognition software they've got going.
