Exciting News Mark! Please point us to a good blog that details your and your team's work. Would love to catch a few swaths of the engineering!
Kudos!

Did your ownership of such a unique vehicle as the Insight attract their attention?
If the Insight was discussed at an interview, what did they ask about, plenty of technological innovation they may not know of, some of us could talk for hours about our cars

No, it was my ability as an electro mechanical design engineer.
The subjest of the car never came up, too much talk of High Test Peroxide fuelled rocket engines & trans-sonic effects etc.

So i'm guessing you weren't talking to HR during that part? hahah i hate trying to talk to HR about my engineering background, they never really know what I'm talking about and i never know how in depth i should go. Good luck with the new job, sounds like fun to me!

There is no HR, there are only about 10 or so people in the team on site, interviewed by the engineers.
