Default I purchased an SUV!!! (DUCKS)

Got to make up for all that gas I save as well as harmful emissions, LOL. Actually its my moms old SUV. Its a 95 suzuki sidekick 4wd stick shift. Ive driven it for her off and on and average 30mpg with no eco mods or eco friendly driving.

I bought it when she mentioned selling it so I would have a 4wd incase we get a lot of the white stuff. Second, since it has a 16v engine, I thought it would be my hot rod. After all I sold my Wagoneer and Geo Metro.

Got a lot of stuff to do to make it cool and eco friendly. Going to lower it, tint the windows, remove all the extra unneeded crap, add some wheel spacers, hitch, block the grill, lower bumper openings, maybe even remove the mechanical fan. Removed the rear spare tire and spare tire carrier, roof rack, roof trim, rear trim/sails. Thinking about removing the bug deflector.

The fogs and cruse control does not work, so going to look at those too. Despite my best efforts it hasn't been serviced like it should since 2003. Only the oil has been changed in the engine and filter. Spent 60 bucks on tranny and diff fluid. Every gear box was dirty and under serviced. Now got the ignition parts to go. Already got a new air filter in it and bled the brakes. Man, I had 2 soda bottles full of dark kerosyrup looking fluid out of the system. Going to do a daisy chan ground system and put my larger sub box in the back. This is after I apply some 2.5 vlt window tint.

The battery has had a drain that if its sits for a month gets too low to start it. I purchased a small solar panel that is weather resistance to mount to the hood to keep it topped off.

It was owned by a little old lady who drove it to church and back every sunday for the past 17 years and all she did was fill it with gas and change the engine oil n filter, seriously.

Man, all the gear boxes oil looked dirty. The plugs, cap, rotor, wires all are in bad shape. To make matters worse Advance auto has been screwing up my part orders and half the stuff I cant get locally and have to have it mailed. Ive been pissed off with the store clerks and buying the parts online to get a discount of 20% or more. THen there is a part I cant get at the store and end up having it shipped.

Anyway, just plugging along between my job, day light and the rain every other day. Got it lowered and the upper/lower grills blocked off. Remove spare tire carrier and its starting to look really nice.
