Default road trip = 50 MPG

My wife and I took a road trip to Austin, TX (We live in Fort Worth, TX) and she did all the driving. granted, she used the cruise control most of the time. still, to my surprise, we averaged 50 MPG. I even checked it the old-fashion way at the pump and it came out 49 MPG (various factors could lead to such a discrepancy, so I believe the Insight's computer)

That's good news! I was hoping it is close on mpg. I am at 49.9 mpg driving mostly rural back and forth to work. Can't believe I'm looking forward to a fill-up. Hope mine is as close as yours.

Between 65 and 70 mph during 95% of the trip.
