Default Now I am getting 61mpg going 56mph

YouTube - 2010 honda insight fuel economy

Got a set of tanabe nf series springs, 1 inch front 1.5 inch rear drop. Handles way nicer, rail road tracks are smoother, but dips are slightly sharper.

Install was fairly easy, just had to do a reach around up under the windshield cow vs accessing it dead on like most cars. Immediate increae on fuel economy and speed helps vs hurts it. Ill have more in a week but first results looks great.

Cant wait til I can get some sway bars. Oh, its pronounced, ta-knob-bee.

Thumbs up Good results!

I'm not into lowering for looks.

But if it helps handling and fuel economy that is a valid justification.

By the way, nice music. What was it? Is that what keeps you from getting bored if you're driving slow?

I'm not sure, but I wonder if our weather being hotter than Virginia affects my mileage. It was easily in the 90's today and I drove 120 miles and averaged 56.0 mpg. Much of it was at 65 and 60 so that might be why.

Most people who lower vehicles follow it up with plus sized wheel and tire combinations adding more mass. I notice when my cars were loaded and low to the ground, the fuel economy improved some, so I started lowering every car i own with a set of aftermarket springs.

Yeah, I use to be an active driver, now I am passive. I sit back and watch the cars go by while rocking out.

That was a song by black sabbath on the mob rules album. I dont know the name of that song, but the one after it is lady evil. That too is a good song and the sign of the southern cross. They sound even better with 2 700 watt sub woofers.

Yeah, muggy weather does wonders for fuel economy.

The name of the song is "Voodoo". My favorite Dio-Sabbath disk is "Heaven and Hell". I only have it on vinyl, so can't listen to it in the car though

Nice job on the 61mpg!

Yeah, I like that older rock. I joined columbia or bmg music and got a bunch of cds for next to nothing. I got everything for black sabbath, acdc, iron madien, Dio, Ozzy, etc.

I grabbed the cart after the photo.
