Default Seeking ideas for the next Ridiculous Challenge!

Hey folks, anyone care to make some suggestions for some fun Fuel Efficiency challenges?

After the 10 mile, I was thinking a 100 mile challenge would be fun. Maybe some top-speed FE challenges?

Maybe best tank, how much (MPG) and miles can you get with 1 tank of gas?

What the MID say after 5,000 miles. I am biased on this one because I have get the "B trip" on for the past 4,900 miles or so. About to take a pic before I reset. I think it is around 58.

That's a nice challenge, but if Greendriver (Fuelly 61.7mpg aver.) gets into this challenge, he will smoke us all

By the way JP, I don't see you on Fuelly... J is there with his Datrh Hydride,... but not you...

Idea suggestion:

How about a steep uphill travel with a water bottle in the cupholder so we can see what angle the hill is.(the mid and bottle being filmed by a camera) I say everyone uses like an arrowhead water bottle? Trip has got to be at least one mile.

Lets add that the car must be driven, not towed, pushed or traillered. The hill must be pointing upwards for the whole trip.

Well, there are a few factors why I don't post to Fuelly. The first is that I don't usually drive the car during the week. Since I live so close to work I usually walk or my wife drops me off on her way to her work so the only time I get to actually check fuel economy is on the weekends when I drive. The second is that Fuelly goes by fuel-ups, right? I don't actually record those numbers at the pump and since I'm not always the one putting gas into the car it wouldn't help anyway. The final reason is that I post my MID mpg reporting (yeah, a little skewed -I know) on fueleconomy.gov in the "Your MPG" section.

For the rest of you, which challenge should we do next? The uphill battle or the one tank long-haul?

I kind of like the max speed one. Show your highes tank FE with your highest tank average speed.
