Default Ridiculous MPG Challenge #2

I think the ten-mile challenge was enjoyable enough for all -and funny for some. To keep things simple, we'll make challenge #2 an easy one -Best MPG after 100 miles. If you can find a mountain with a 100-mile downslope... good luck!

I want to challenge you to the SECOND of a series of "Ridiculous MPG Challenges."

This is your chance to show off your skills, annoy your loved ones, piss off the tailgaters behind you, and all-around have fun with your car!

All you need is you, your Insight, and a digital camera.

The SECOND challenge is...
An as-near-100 mile trip of your choosing. Just snap a picture of your MID with the average FE screen and trip distance traveled. The only rule is to be safe -no behavior that puts you or other people in danger. You pick where, you pick when, you pick how. Of course, tell us where and tell us how you did it. Like to cheat? Tell us how you cheated! If you happen to have a beautiful route or destination, snap a pic of that, too!

Have fun!
JP

CLARIFICATION - This ain't no winner-takes-all competition. We know not everyone is blessed with perfect conditions to get perfect MPG so just show us your skills! The best MPG you can do is great -just post us some pics and have fun!

I guess I'll be the first...

100 miles from Indianapolis to Cincinnati going about 60mph.

Back in September, a few times back and forth to work. Now that is it cooler, doubt I'll push those kind a numbers for a while.

Mostly highway from Longmeadow to Hartford.

I bet the drive was beautiful!

I'll be in your neck of the woods in a couple weeks... I hope the foliage holds out long enough for me to get there!

It should for CT and Mass, up north might be past peak.

Actually, I don't like the fall too much...leaf collection is around 90 30 gallon bags

Usually in late October, early november collection/clean up happens. Usually takes 3 to 4 weekends to fully collect.

But the colors are nice and we enjoy going to the local farms, corn mazes, hay rides, etc.
