How many miles do you have on your car?

The best I could get on the highway was 57 MPG doing 55 and that was after resetting the computer after I was moving. I filled up my tank and reset the MPG and for the past couple hundred miles I am sadly within EPA specs.

I wish I could get 50+ MPG on a regular basis. Stop and go kill my MPG.

I have about ten thousand. I have tanabe nf lowering springs and the lower grill block on my radiator. Before the grill block I was lucky to get 49 in the colder weather. Lowing it got an extra 5mpg.

Unlike my previous videos where I used the cruse control I drove this by foot and kept with traffic. I did not do any hypermiling tricks.

I drove stop n go to work one day i95 was closed due to an accident and got 54mpg my trip. Way better than I expected.

Lowering the car added 5 MPG?!?!?!?!

WOW!

I am hitting parking curbs a lot as it is. If I were to lower mine any more than the factory, my wife would destroy the front end if she took it some place.

For 5 MPG, I would love to lower mine.

How did you adjust the camber after lowering it so that the tires would wear evenly and not wear out the insides quicker?

Camber? I took it back tothe dealer for an alignment and the toe was out a few degrees.

Of everywhere I drive, there is only 1 driveway I can scrape the front, but take it at an angle I am find.

There is a guy in europe who said his car scraped curbs when he drove over them too. Guess out east we do not have such things in the middle of the road?

Once you lower the car, the wheels turn outward a little bit, so the inside of the tire will be touching more than the outside. You either have to adjust the camber or install a camber kit to correct it. This is one of the reasons I have never lower any of my cars, next to the fact that I know my wife will destroy the front end if I do.

Nope, all within spec minus the toe. It was since adjusted. Yeah, xtreme lowering does screw up the camber too. Not to worry with an inch or 2.

How exactly did you lower the car and where did you get the stuff to do it?
