Exclamation Leafing Leveling Up & Better MPG

Hi, I just got my 2010 Insight last Friday and I already have 300 miles on it. I don't understand why I am only getting about 30 MPG when the last 3 drives say 40 or over and I'm always driving and my lighting are green. how come that is ? & how can i improve that ?

... Also i always have the 5 leaves and how do I " level up" to make the leaves to the next level and so on ?

You just need to reset your mpg meter. That 30 mpg your are getting is for all the driving the car has been through since you picked it up new. Next time you get a gas-up, reset the mpg meter. can't tell you how from my desk, but it's easy enough. see the manual. Believe me you're getting more than 40 mpg. I'm on my 3rd tankful since delivery and I'm doing a steady 45 mpg in mixed driving, all on ECON

As for the leveling up part, that happens automatically, over time. I've only had my Insight for two months and I'm well into stage two. Driving economically and getting five flowers regularly will help move you through the stages.

You need to drive it in econ with drive vs sport mode and take it easy. You shouldnt be passing anyone when pulling off from a green light.

It took me about 3 thousand miles before I got a trophy.

Unfortunately I missed seeing my first trophy. I am at around 2500 miles now so that first trophy was at approximately 1900-2000 miles.
