Question Still Need Help

okay so i posted last week about my MPG on my 2010 Insight... I am driving in ALL green ALL the time, and in ECON MODE and the MID is telling me I'm still getting about 30.1 MPG. I just filled up and have a bit over 3/4 of a tank.

In my last post i was told to restart the MPG gauge.. im not sure how though and i misplaced my manual for this moment.. could someone tell me how?\

I have a little under 500 miles and still need to get better MPG.. this is my second fill up.

ALSO... with the display that shows the numbers 0.....50....100 and the "tallies" go up and down (the avg. fuel economy trips A and B ) what is that and why does it go up and down ?
