Default Checking In with Mileage

Hi All,

Bought my 2011 Insight 3 weeks ago. Live in Ventura County - So Cal.

I hit 1500 miles yesterday. My overall average since day one is now 50 mpg according to the onboard computer, it's 48.6 per the spread sheet I'm keeping. This includes the learning curve for the first tank to drive it for mileage. The computer is showing around 53 - 54 mpg for my most recent tanks. Probably more like 51 mpg.

I love driving 400 miles and filling it up for $27.00. Less than 1/2 of what it costs to drive my Volvo T5 and way less than the Suburban 4X4 I got rid of to buy the insight.

All in all very pleased.

Now I need to figure out how to relocate the seat mounting brackets to get a couple more inches of leg room.

Gregg

Default relocate front seat

My thoughts also. If you figure out how to move the front seat back 2 inches or so I would like to know because I also need to do it.

Welcome aboard. Let me know too about the seat. I swear I looked at the 2010 model and could not see a way to do it by just flipping around a bracket, stacking washers and using a longer bolt, etc.

What kind of driving do you do? Freeway? City? Fast? Conservative? ETc.
