New Owner -- First Tank of Gas

Hello all,

Just purchased my 2011 Insight LX -- averaged 47.47 on first tank. Drove the car very differently than I normally drive (keeping it in the green as much as possible and not exceeding 65 at all). A lot of highway miles.

My computer indicated that I had mileage of 49.6; is the computer normally over-generous?

Some of us have found the car to overestimate the mileage by about 5%.
