Default Announcement: No more crate rental fees!

The new Gen-I Civic crates are a success and cost only an average of $10 per 10 trips to repair, and the new Insight, Accord and Gen-II Civic crates are UPS-proof, so there is no reason to charge a crate rental anymore.

We no longer charge a $50 crate rental fee.

We still charge a $50 crate security deposit for the Gen-I Civic crates (wood) and we charge a hefty $200 security deposit for the Hardigg ex-military transit cases (all other models).

Do the batteries ship out in these cool crates?

Battery shipping in a cardboard box?

I don't doubt a well designed box could get the job done but i thought those mil spec cases looked cool. I would gladly pay the deposit to have mine shipping in one of those.

We have a dozen of the crates and they cost $450 each plus $100 of modifications. We'd need about 50 of them to keep up with the BetterBattery shipments. That's why we're shipping them in cardboard boxes without their fans. They make it intact - that's all that matters.

Also, the boxes are cheaper to ship because they weigh less and are smaller.
