Whenever, I'd really like to meet other Insight owners, experts, . .
any weekend's OK with me - july [ending soon], AUg, Sept.
Eastern / central Mass. best but CT, etc.: fine with me.
"tuna" here ( or "tuna9"?) is in Worcester area - - anyone hear from him?

how is Saturday September 6th for everyone?

My schedule is still chaotic but if that date works with other people I will try to be there.

Speaking of NJ/NY.. There is a Goat Puke Green (Citrus Yellow Metallic) Insight somewhere around the Central NJ area. I've been hoping to meet the owner (and persuade them to sell me their car), but I've only seen it on the road a handful of times.

If there's something in the NJ/NY area, I'd love to see all those Insights (and hopefully be an Insight owner by whenever the event happens)

The 6th is coming up quickly, if we get serious about having a nice gathering, and start planing now, we could have a much better meet than if we just let it happen.
I am up for a real party, cookout, MPG challenge, whatever. My place has a large lawn, and if someone from a bit farther out than the local area wanted to camp out, that would be fun as well.
We had a family reunion last year with over 75 people attending, and had plenty of room for all the cars, tents, and 7 cookout stoves.

Where is the Insight community spirit that we should have as owners of the worlds most efficient limited production Hybrid?

I just upgraded my solar cooker to do burgers, chicken, and steaks, with a solar powered rotisserie.

For people that have not attended an Insight meet, you should give it a try. It is a lot of fun networking with other owners, and comparing notes and techniques, and especially finally being able to put faces on the many people that we all know from this forum.

I am still planning to come the 6th...

At the very least it will be nice to hang out and catch up with mike about his projects and my projects.

I hope others can come...

see you there.

I guy with failed battery pack may bring his car up from New York to have the pack equalized, so while we are chatting and comparing notes, we will also see how to do a fast pack equalization.
Need an oil change, I have the pit, you bring the oil and filter.
Solar cookout weather permitting.
This Saturday Sept. 6 meet at my place 9-10 AM
Map from I-395 exit 100

Hope to see many of you.

Due to a lack of interest, and some stormy weather, I think it is best to cancel the hybrid meet tomorrow. We will have to try for another day before winter, and since no one wants to come here, let someone else pick a place.
