+1 for that for me as well... weekdays are out... Preferably a Saturday or Sunday.

I think that is only about ~30 miles each way for me... so that would work for me.

How about everybody else?

Is everybody an I1 or I2?
I wouldn't mind other HEVs and such green vehicles even if they aren't Insights.

I could do that as well. Are there any good scenic drives we could do around there? I also wouldn't mind other cars. Is anyone a member of another forum that might have some more interested people?

I'll touch base with the NEEAA ( New England Electric Auto Association )... they have several members in CT... maybe we can combine something with one of their monthly meetings... or at least get one or two of them might come out... They have been considering renaming themselves to the CTEAA as they are mostly in CT anyway.

I might also check some of my other forums.

I'm not far, so if the timing works out, I'll go.

The location is quite near CT 169, perhaps the most scenic route on this side of the state.

Default Head Count

For a meet up --- chat --- get together --- meeting of minds --- followed by a meal ( lunch or dinner depending on the yet undecided time frame ).

All interested alternative vehicle drivers/owners are welcome. Including different HEVs, EVs, etc...

Here is what I see so far for a head count of interested people near enough to the proposed area of the NE of CT near Danielson and Rt 101.

Yet unspecified weekend: ( Saturday or Sunday )

Other Forums I am casting the wider net on:
Hobbit

-------------

I will give the wider net I cast a few days to see what I catch in that time... I'll update this thread every now and then as progress is made and the details get ironed out.

Current number of people expressing interest = 8

I would be interested, just tell me the time and place on the weekend. I think one of the pluses for me would be to get a some hybirds in a public place so people can see them, ask questions, etc. I think the best is some sort of public drive some where people can see them and certainly I would be up for that on any weekend.

Hybirds still make up a small percentage of cars, I always have people give me the googly eyes when I tell them I got 50+ MPG.

Just let me know and I would be happy to go on a drive

Since we're open to other cars, I'll go post on Prius Chat and see if there's any interest there.
