3rd Annual Honda Car Show, Middletown, NY June 5, 2011
Hi folks! I've been a Honda enthusiast since 92 when I bought my first Accord. I currently own several Honda cars, the favorite being my S2000.
My fiance has a 2010 Insight and loves the mileage! I'd like to invite other Insight owners - first and second gens welcome! - to our 3rd annual Honda and Acura Car Show!
We will have a wide variety of cars at the show including S2000s, S600s and S800s, Civics, Accords, and many more. We had an NSX attend in 2009 but weather was iffy last year and turn out was not as great
The show is Sunday, June 5 from 10 am to 2 pm. It's very informal and there is no fee to attend.

Ellen, That sounds great, I have a Gen 1 insight, and will likely come up for that event. I have been watching this S2000 engine swap into a 1967 S800 over on Honda-Tech, it is my dream car. 1967 S800. going to try to fit S2000 engine - Honda-Tech

I'm a real purist when it comes to cars. I think the S2000 is great and the S800 is great, but combining them... not so much
Stuffing a too large engine into a chassis not meant to handle it will only result in tearing apart the car before it's time. The old vehicles were alot more fragile than today's models.
Anyone attending will hopefully be lucky enough to hear an S800 engine. The little buggers rev up to 10,000 RPMs and it is an AWESOME sound
Please feel free to invite anyone else you may know with a Honda or Acura, car, truck or motorcycle.
Cars and Coffee meets are big in many places around the US. People who love cars show up, have coffee, and chat with other enthusiasts. This is a low key "hang out" event, nothing that attracts police attention will be tolerated!

As an avid "Honda guy", and new in the Middletown, NY area, I am putting on a Honda and Acura car show to meet other enthusiasts.

I will attend in "Green Machine", my Citrus Yellow 2001 Insight. I will also bring sample rebuilt IMA batteries for gen 1 Insights and gen 1 Honda Civic Hybrids.
I live in Staten Island and I used to work in Goshen. That commute (180 miles) is why I bought my Insight in the first place.
According to me motor shows are bit of a waste of time.As you can see the latest car in your local showroom, or even better on the road.In fact many motor manufacturers now don't bother with the expense of these shows.
Classic cars shows are good though.See some real cars.
