I'm in Akron and would be interested if it was close.

Oh, and user Ellen D-W is also nearby, assuming she still has hers.

Sounds like we've got enough for a party! I'm driving to Detroit Jan 13th to have the Li-on aux pack from Enginer Systems installed. Might be interesting for others to see once I have the bugs worked out. Maybe plan a February date in Akron weather permitting? What do you all think of that location and time frame?

I surely am interested to see your installation ! Akron is a little far, but I wouldn't mind the drive. But February... really... cold

I'll stay tuned. Once a date is set, I'll see if I can make it.

By the way, where/by who in Detroit will you have the Enginer System installed ?

Ditto re: distance & willingness. Y'all trying to kill my mpg?

Silver & Purplegate, so Columbus (boringly central) would be a better spot to meet? I'm game for that as I have a friend in Columbus I haven't seen in a awhile. As to the installation of the Enginer system, it's to be done by Eric Powers of Hybridfest fame. He's going to be in town for the Detroit Auto Show so it's convenient to hook up while he's in the Motor City. He has the 2KW system installed in his Insight — thread's been on Insight Central — and it gave me the motivation to do it. Also, Jack Chen has a big discount going on systems sold before the end of 2009.

Columbus would work. If you ask me, Toledo would be closest, but Columbus is ok. I don't mind the drive (depending when & workload at work).

Look forward to it !

Yeah, I'm with you on the distance thing. Guess final location really gets down to who is committed to meet up at a particular date and time. If we do something on Feb 20th (just pulling a date out of thin air) and 5 people want to meet and those 5 are closer to Columbus than to Toledo, then Columbus it is. Obviously, it could swing East, North or West depending on the committed folks.

I'll put the date on my calendar. Let's keep in touch. I'll probably get ProDesigner with me... and use the driving time on the "holy surely not boring mountain like driving" Ohio roads (I'm just being sarcastic here...) to convince him to post more on InsightCentral !

Look forward to meeting you and see your Engineer mod !

Likewise! We need to establish a location to meet around Columbus area. Any Columbus are Insight owners want to volunteer?
