I got premission from Johnny from the geometroforum.com forum to post this. They are having a meeting and we can come as guests and meet else where on the grounds. I am driving up from Richmond, VA with a few metro owners. I own a metro, but taking the hybrid.
Basically we are just going to talk, look at each others cars and maybe we can meet the guy with the plug in kit or the begining of the MIMA2?
The 3rd Annual GeoPalooza Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift meet is taking place on July 24TH and July 25th 2010 and will be held here...........

Glad to hear of this. I'm planning on driving down from Cleveland in my 2006 Insight with the 2KW Enginer PHEV kit.

Hopefully one of these years the Metro event could coordinate/be held with Green Drive Expo up in Madison,WI on the 17 & 18! http://www.greendriveexpo.com
The events end up being so close together and I can't do both.
Timing is everything. I think he didnt like the anything economy vs metros only. Part of owning a metro is the economy, the other is its a great little car.
I cant make the hybrid thing. I have to arrange vacation a year in advance.
