SoCal Insight rendezvous
It is now less than two weeks away from a Southern California Insight gathering Oct 17!
A friend and I have recently both purchased model year 2000 Insights and invite you to meet us for a gathering in Southern California. We are not Insight experts but we are enjoying our cars and all the great information available on this website. Please join us on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at El Dorado Park in Los Angeles County. We will be there from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The site is a little bit north of the junction of the 405 and 605 freeways. El Dorado Park is in the city of Long Beach and has two large areas. The area we will meet in is in the sw area, near the intersection of E. Willow St. and N. Studebaker Rd. To gain entrance to the park go north on Studebaker past Willow and go approximately 1.5 tenths of a mile and turn right in the first driveway. If you miss the first driveway, turn right in the next driveway (Barrios Place). Take the main park road to the South (right) toward Willow and you will see Honda Insights in the parking area. The parking area is a series of parking lots supporting many baseball diamonds you will see in front of you as you come in. There should be plenty of parking for baseball players and Insight drivers alike. Bring your lunch and stories about your Insight!
