Some folks in UK started an open source car development project. It will be a hydrogen fuel cell car, therefore use electricity which means some common points with our Insights.

It seems still fairly new, but the goal is to have a community to discuss and bring ideas for the car development and engineering. I see this a little like what Mike and Peter and several other peoples are doing here on IC. The open source project is here:

Not sure if the 40fire forum has the right layout (it’s a bit different/basic to navigate), and there is not much content yet, but it could be a good source of idea somewhere in the future, depending how many people will join the community. Might be interesting to follow !
