I've been orginizing a G1 get together here in Phoenix on 21 January 2012, we will be meeting at the Cracker Barrell at 1007 N Dobson Rd, Mesa AZ. (Dobson and the 202 FWY)
A couple of advantages to the Dobson location is the parking lot is very
big, also it is right beside ProBass Shop which would be worth the trip
there if you have never seen one before. Planning on arriving between 8:30
and 9am, after we look at cars we can go in for a cup of coffee.
Looking forward to seeing other G1's and their owners there.
Mark (aka - Gilbertguy)
Cracker Barrel is EV friendly. On my trip back I spent the night in Lebanon TN, went to the Cracker Barrel there for dinner and as I drove in there were 2 Level 3 Chargers, Fast DC, and 2 Level 2 J1772 Chargers there...

Hey everyone, as an extra bonus the Barrett Jackson car auction will be happening the same weekend. It is one of the biggest car auctions in the country and if you haven't ever seen it you should come to our G1 Insight get together that Saturday morning and then go to the car auction.
Be prepared to come to Tucson on April 14, Bookman's First Annual HEDRA Spring Thaw. NEDRA is National Electric Drag Racing Association. The EVent is being organized by Bookman's Books and PAG (Pima Assoc of Gov), it is also an alternative fuels event so all Hybrids are welcome.
It would be great if a LOT of Insights showed up. Willie? Mark? Eli? Dakine? If enough Insighters say they will attend, I'll ask the local Honda Dealer if they can't somehow do an 'Insight tune up' or something like that...
Don't forget that we can also use the 1/4 track, do some comparisons on the time/speed of our Insights, see how the OBDII records things, do some Insight modifications, have an Insight workshop, lots of things to do!
So far there is really nothing on the schedule, but I'm pushing for everything to happen. I'll start a seperate thread later.

April 14th...... wow that will be cutting it close for me? Will be back in the mid-west until about that date. Might have to cut it a little short to make it back in time for that. Keep everyone informed on what is going on and if I can swing it I'll be there.
I'll be at the January 21st Phoenix meet with Insight #2 and #3.
I'm thinking this also needs to be posted in the regular forums.. perhaps stickied.. yes?

No San Diego Insighters interested in the caravan?
Where is your desire for an "adventure".
The weather right now is starting to get pretty good, hope it stays around till after the 21st.
