Default Honda ciVic 3-door / Type R due to arrive end 2006

I've read that the 3-door ciVic is due Autumn 2006. So I guess a show-car could be seen at the Geneva Car-Show next month. Like the 5-Door in the beginning of this year.
Does anyone know where it will be built ? If it's Japan then one could expect a hybrid !

Doesn't look any different than the 5-door version.

Plain boring if you ask me !

This Type R Civic has a 2 litre / 200bhp engine which is very similar to the old engine. Yawn.

However there are persistent rumours that Honda will also produce a Type RR - 2.4 litre / 250bhp

A hybrid in this Euro Civic body is a long way off. We are getting the same 'dull' hybrid saloon shape that is sold in America and Japan. HTH!

... the 2006 HCH will do me fine as long as I don't have to hassle around with the poor british workmanship.

Come on now, I think you're painting with too wide a brush.

No harm done. Was just an ironic reply to the "dull" ciVic Hybrid. Maybe I should have shown it more.....

I am British myself, btw.
