Article: "Original Hybrids' Batteries Near End"
In today's Greenville News (Saturday, Nov 10), there was an article by Mark Phelan of the Gannett News Service about the Insight's batteries "nearing end" and said replacement could cost about $3,000. They interviewed an Insight owner from Oakland who owns a 2000 Insight.
The article stated "Honda won't say how many batteries it has replaced in the 13,886 Insights it sold but calls it a small number."
Overall, this was an interesting article. I am happy that Honda extended the battery warranty to 10 yrs/150,000 miles.
