It started making a "dry bearing" sort of rumbling noise and was getting stiff shifting from 1st to 2nd. I'd purchased the car as a Honda "certified" used car and only had a few hundred miles left on the drive train warranty. Honda paid for a complete rebuild, also a replacement motor mount which was found during the r&r, and I coughed up a small additional amount to have the clutch disk and pressure plate replaced while they had it open. All work was done at Hardin Honda in Anaheim Calif.

Hi I happened to notice your insight signature showed you had to rebuild your tranny. I think mine needs first gear. Care to share your experiences? thx
