Ron, I was re-reading your last message to me, and I think I misled you in my use of the deterioated battery pack. You probably think I meant the "IMA battery switch". In reality I meant the CARD switch that I installed. I still play with the CARD switch as described before and have no drastic negative results. (now over 44,000 miles since the first IMA light) It seems if I overheat the battery either from an excessive discharge rate (time) or regen (time) I will get a recal and IMA light. It will happen mostly during a definate "hot" outside temperature. Now I'm starting to use the AC full time. I am still experimenting and when I decide to replace the battery, you will be on my list.
