A guy from our Greek hybrid forum was facing some problems with his I2 and went to the dealer's garage for a diagnosis. They found that the small baterry needed charging but they also did some upgrading in the I2's software. For the most he could see, standing next to the technician, they upgraded the cpu's software concerning the IMA system , IMA battery charge handling, engine response to gas injection and some other things he could not clearly see.
Has there been an official uprgade directive from Honda for the I2 (as with the Civic) ? Anyone aware of anything on the matter?
MY local dealer knows nothing about it concerning the Insight...

Can you share the link to that original post? I want to understand more about what problem he was noticing, and see if I (or anyone here) am facing the similar problem.
I am interested in a software update if that enhance the drivablility. Especially smooth out the gasoline-electric power transition, and reduce the jerkiness (when I step on the accelerator right after I release the brake) as if I don't know how to drive a stick shift car.
