It looks pretty easy to me. If you look on the H & A or College Hills website or one of the many other websites that sell Insight accessories, look for the installation instructions for the fog light kit. Those instructions have the steps on removing the bumper and have a drawing of where the fasteners are located.

Removing the bumper does wonders for the aerodynamics, oh wait, you are adding angel eyes, right?

I think Id talk to the dealer first if the lamp came unsealed. It maybe the seal around the base of the hids you installed.

Anyway, its fairly straight forward. Undo the plastic clips between the head lights on top and remove hte plastic strip. Then you can see down to the horn and front of the radiator.

Then remove the philips head screw in each wheel well facing forward of the car. Then down under the car undo a few more of those clips and philip head screws. Reach up and twist out the turn signal lights and fog lights. Then just gently peel away the edges from the fenders and the bumper should pop off. Make sure to lay a blanket in front of the car to rest it on.

correct me if im wrong
first of all i need to remove the front grill cover ( it has 7 short clips )
next the other 2 clips under that
next remove the 6 clips that are under the bumper
next the single screw on each side of the bumper ( in front of the tires)
next pull the bumper carefully while its retained by 16 retaining tabs( 16 on each side )
and last disconnect the connnectors

is that it??
one more question . how do i take of the clips?? just tight and pull?

oh well i bought the faily used headlight on ebay after i crashed n cracked the other one

or maybe i could go and say at the dealer hey how come this light is gettin moistured!! ( but not mentione the crash?? )
thatd be risky and they wuold end up charging me more i think

i checked the hid whole but it look normal
the moisture is actually on the other end right next to the grill
maybe the crack is open by there?

Oh ok, I thought I recalled you recking your car. Interesting you would have that with a used part. Id look it over, may need a spot of super glue or somelens tape.

You can buy clear lens tape from kmart in the auto section. I got some to fix my cracked fog lamp.

Fixed lamp, notice slight sand paper pitted finish.

Supplies used in fix.

Before fix notice the blob of proxy I used that did not plug the leak.

I use a small flat screw driver to pop out the center, then use that piece to grab it out.
