Ok, I did it, I removed the front bumper, removed the headlights, baked them in the oven for 20 minutes at 220, pulled them apart, and removed the orange reflector. I was happy to see that it is blue underneath it, so it is a really clean look. If you want to do this, its pretty simple, it took me 3 hours total start to finish. I was able to remove the reflector without breaking the tabs, so I can re-install them whenever I decide to sell the car. Here are some pics of my car.

I don't think there are any states that will approve a white light shining out to the side. In the late 60s, "clearance lights" or "side marker lights" became a requirement for all cars. That's what that orange light is all about.
OTOH, it is a much cleaner look. I am curious about as to how it affects night driving. Does it light up other cars next to you in heavy traffic?

I removed the light bulb as well, since it is not the turn signal, all I lose is the parking light feature, to me its a much cleaner look day and night, yeah, its illegal, but I did the same on my last 3 cars, I drive over 30k miles a year, and have never been pulled over for no orange reflector, or no parking light on, so I will continue to take my chances!

I think those need to be smoked to match your paint and grill. There was a guy on ebay selling precut tint for our head lamps. I was banned from buying from him since I made multiple best offers and he declined them all.
His rear looks like 5% vlt. Cops like to be able to see something through it from the back side. I am 35% all around, going to redo the back half at 20%.

What did you use to seal the lens back on to the headlight? Also, what percentage is your tint?
to seal the headlight back, I just put it back together and closed it up as much as I could, re-baked it for 15 min, and then it sealed back all the way so I could put the 5 screws back in, as far as tint, the tint shop I use has for levels, light, medium, dark, and limo, I use limo for the back doors, back window, and front visor, and medium for the front doors, the front doors are illegal, but as long as cops can see inside, they pretty much leave me alone, I have been pulled over twice in over 20 years of driving with tinted front windows, and both times were out of town by the CHP in small towns, so I am more aware now when I drive through small towns, and usually just drive through with my windows down

I have the 3M clearshield on my headlights, so I cant tint them, thats the main reason why I removed the reflector
